Hello Valley Youth Service Providers!

Valley Youth Services have a bumper of activities for young people to enjoy over the school holidays! We thought to list them in a special edition of the Valley Youth Service Providers Network eNewsletter. With this, we encourage you to have a look on what is on offer and make referrals to young people to activities that you know would enjoy the most. 
SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITES LIST

AVENUE PRODUCTIONS
Avenue Productions is a group of young people who meet weekly to plan and stage music, art and creative events. It’s a great way to develop skills in event management, production and design as well as meet new friends!

Date and time: Monday, 11 April, 5pm - 6pm

MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY
Mad Hatters Tea Party is a FREE youth event young identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It's a great way to meet other rainbow young people and there'll be heaps of fun including Drag Queen Bingo, music and high tea style food! 

Date and time: Tuesday, 12 April, 10am – 3pm 
Age: 12-25 years
Venue & Contact: Meeting place for bus is Sam Merrifield Library (762 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039) We'll transport you to and from the event via bus.

VIRTUAL REALITY GAMING
Try our VR headsets on for size and experience the brave new world of 3D gaming. The activity is free to enjoy

Learn how to create your own short film using a phone or iPad! We’ll guide you through screen writing, shooting and editing. The activity is free to enjoy

A creative drop-in space for LGBTQIA+ young people and their allies! The activity is free to enjoy

SOCIAL JUSTICE ART FOR TEENS
In these extensive workshops you will connect with other young social justice artists and learn how to use your art to change the world and express what is important to you.

REAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS
This three-day project is a great way to connect with other young people. It is run by a professional actor and a theatre director. Create a live performance and express your ideas with Melbourne Playback Theatre Company. This activity is free to enjoy.

GAME OFF!
