Frank from Orchidbox also commented that using digital to build community, for example using a hashtag, and increase awareness and traffic to an event can be further augmented. This can be done using social media amplification - by the proposition of audiences with specific locational offers, as well as longer term follow through with data capture, sharing and engaging content. We’re all agreed that the interplay between the digital and the physical world is really where to find the best experiential outcomes.

The next talk is on July 7th with Wil Currie from Nexus Global (and others) who specialise in installation of bespoke digital networks at events, retail and experiential locations. We’ll be exploring beacons, consumer navigation, Virtual and Augmented Reality and tracking the unwitting consumers’ mobile phones, among other topics.
Invitations will be issued in June… meanwhile if you would like to engage with the Footprint Xchange conversations, just add the twitter hashtag #FootprintXchange.
Until next time,
Danny & Agnes.
