"You don't need to have a 100-person company to develop that idea"
Are you having trouble finding someone who wants to start the Quality Assurance journey? Is it tough to take that first step? Can you sustain yourself after that first step?
The above quote came from Larry Page (Co-founder, Google) in an interview with BusinessWeek Online Technology in 2001.
Quite frequently many initiatives can be viewed with that 100-person team mentality. Someone comes up with a good idea and then wants to staff it with multiple people, starting many processes simultaneously on several fronts, in order to be able to launch in a blaze of glory. This method is inapplicable in Quality Assurance. We want to trial items before sending them out to more people to try. We don't need a 100-person company to start a lot of Quality Assurance.
