You may know that our Energy Huntsville Leadership Team and GALA Planning Committee have been working hard for several months to plan and promote our "Annual Giving Back to the Community" GALA Event which was planned for October 25th. A great event agenda was planned to include dinner at the USSRC's Davidson Center with Keynote Speaker Astronaut Robert L. "Hoot" Gibson, and live music planned by The Groove Band.
Unfortunately, even with a concentrated promotional effort to sell Sponsorship's and tables we were faced with the prospect of not achieving a break-even point, much less provide a charitable gift to the Boy's and Girl's Club, which has led to the decision to cancel the event. We sincerely regret having to cancel this important Energy Huntsville event. We are sending this notice to you for your information only. For those of you who responded to our request for support we thank you. Stay tuned for other Energy Huntsville Initiative planned events coming up in the future.
