So we continue the stay home advisory through May 18, and hope for a cautious phased reopening after that if the data shows that it is safe enough to start. Schools are out for the rest of the year, and parents brace themselves to homeschool til mid/late June.
Doctors and scientists are learning more about Covid-19, and people are working hard to keep food in our homes, get essential workers to work, keep our city clean, teaching our children remotely, and take care of our sick and elderly. Being able to work from home, homeschooling, cooking and spending time with our families is the easier load to bare, and it's not always easy.
For anyone who needs someone to talk to you, or is spending this stay home advisory alone, feel free to reach out to us, we can connect you with someone who would like to just call and chat! On the other side of that, if you would like to make calls, let us know as well! Email us: firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll match people up!
Please know that we will get through this! We have so many people trying to do their best to keep us safe and the responsibility is one that they are taking seriously. Stay home, wash your hands, and if you need help, reach out!
Be kind, Be safe, and we'll get through this!
