VALLADOLID SE PREPARA PARA UN OCTUBRE DE CINE
Octubre es sinónimo de cine en Valladolid. Un mes clave en la agenda cultural y en el que la vida de la ciudad bulle a la luz de la gran pantalla. El calendario marca la siembra en el campo, pero también el fin de la cosecha del cine de autor que se proyectará en la Semana Internacional de Cine (Seminci), que este año alcanzará su 66 edición después de haber sobrevivido al Covid-19 y de haber padecido las correspondientes restricciones sanitarias, que amenazaron el año pasado la celebración de sus bodas de platino.
October is synonymous with cinema in Valladolid. A key month in the cultural agenda, when the life of the city bustles in the light of the big screen. The calendar marks sowing in the fields, but also the end of the harvest of auteur cinema that will be screened at the International Film Week (Seminci), which this year will reach its 66th edition after having survived Covid-19 and the corresponding health restrictions, which threatened last year's platinum jubilee celebration.
MALCOLM MCDOWELL, PROTAGONISTA DE ‘LA NARANJA MECÁNICA’, ACUDIRÁ A LA SEMINCI PARA PRESENTAR EL DOCUMENTAL
El actor Malcolm McDowell, protagonista de ‘La naranja mecánica’, acudirá a Valladolid para presentar el documental ‘La naranja prohibida’, una producción original de TCM dirigida por Pedro González Bermúdez que reconstruye los acontecimientos que rodearon al primer pase público de la película de Stanley Kubrick en España, celebrada en medio de una gran polémica en la 20 edición de la Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid en el año 1975.

The actor Malcolm McDowell, star of 'A Clockwork Orange', will come to Valladolid to present the documentary 'The Forbidden Orange', an original TCM production directed by Pedro González Bermúdez that reconstructs the events surrounding the first public screening of Stanley Kubrick's film in Spain, held amidst great controversy at the 20th edition of the Valladolid International Film Festival in 1975.
NUEVA JORNADA DEL RODAJE DEL MUSICAL 'VOY A PASÁRMELO BIEN' EN VALLADOLID
Valladolid ha acogido este mes de septiembre la segunda parte del rodaje del musical ‘Voy a pasármelo bien’. La película, de producción española, estará dirigida por David Serrano y cuenta con la colaboración de Valladolid Film Office, que se ha encargado de gestionar los exteriores para el rodaje.

This September, Valladolid hosted the second part of the filming of the musical 'Voy a pasármelo bien' (I'm going to have a good time). The film, a Spanish production, will be directed by David Serrano in collaboration with Valladolid Film Office, which has been in charge of managing the exterior locations for filming.
LA PASARELA DE LA MODA DE CASTILLA Y LEÓN, EN LUGARES EMBLEMÁTICOS DE VALLADOLID
Valladolid, junto con Salamanca, Zamora y León, ha acogido la grabación de los desfiles de la Pasarela de la Moda de Castilla y León. Siguiendo la tendencia marcada por los grandes diseñadores internacionales para presentar sus colecciones, los desfiles se han filmado los desfiles en entornos espectaculares de la Comunidad para crear una producción audiovisual capaz de suscitar una fuerte repercusión en el ámbito del marketing digital.
The Castilla y León fashion catwalk, in emblematic locations in Valladolid
Valladolid, together with Salamanca, Zamora and León, has hosted the filming of the fashion shows of the Castilla y León Fashion Catwalk. Following the trend set by major international designers to present their collections, the fashion shows have been filmed in spectacular settings in the Community to create an audiovisual production capable of arousing a strong impact in the field of digital marketing.
VALLADOLID CITY OF FILM, UNA SEMANA DE TRABAJO EN POLONIA
Valladolid City of Film se ha desplazado hasta Polonia para desarrollar una semana de trabajo alrededor del sector audiovisual. La delegación ha sido invitada por la organización del 46º Festival de Cine Polaco, que se celebra en la ciudad de Gdynia hasta el próximo día 25. Así mismo, Valladolid City of Film también visitará la ciudad de Lodz, para desarrollar una semana de trabajos en el marco de la Red de Ciudades Creativas de la UNESCO.

Valladolid City of Film has travelled to Poland for a week of work in the audiovisual sector. The team has been invited by the organisers of the 46º Polish Film Festival, which is being held in the city of Gdynia until the 25th. Valladolid City of Film will also visit the city of Lodz for a week of work within the framework of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

VALLADOLID REUNIRÁ A LOCALIZADORES DE RODAJES DE CINE
La Feria de Valladolid celebrará los próximos 21 y 22 de octubre‘Shooting Locations Marketplace’, un evento dirigido a los profesionales de la industria audiovisual y los destinos que se postulan como localizaciones para los rodajes de producciones de cine, televisión, publicidad, música, o videojuegos, entre otros. Actualmente, han confirmado ya su participación cerca de 50 localizadores y más de 30 destinos nacionales e internacionales.

Valladolid to bring together film set location scouts
The Valladolid Trade Fair will be held on 21 and 22 October at the ‘Shooting Locations Marketplace’, an event aimed at professionals from the audiovisual industry and destinations that are bidding on locations for film, television, advertising, music and video game productions, among others. Currently, around 50 location scouts and more than 30 national and international destinations have already confirmed their participation.
26º FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE BUSAN
Del 6 al 15 de octubre, Busan celebra su Festival Internacional de Cine, el festival de cine más grande de Asia. El enfoque del BIFF es la presentación de nuevas películas y directores primerizos, especialmente los de países asiáticos. Otra característica notable es el atractivo del festival para los jóvenes, tanto en términos de la gran audiencia juvenil que atrae, como a través de sus esfuerzos para desarrollar y promover el talento joven.

From the 6th to the 15th of October, Busan celebrates its International Film Festival, Asia's largest film festival. The focus of BIFF is the presentation of new films and first-time directors, especially those from Asian countries. Another notable feature is the festival's appeal to young people, both in terms of the large youth audience it attracts, and through its efforts to develop and promote young talent.

Las jornadas, podrán seguirse tanto en directo como de manera online.
How do we maximise the potential of film in cities? This is the question that we will try to answer on 21 October at the conference organised by Bristol City Of Film as part of the City of the Future Festival organised by this British city. The conference can be followed both live and online.
