Too many people dodge giving feedback. The key to great feedback is that it benefits the recipient.
1. Get crystal clear on what the person has done well/badly and ask yourself if an impartial observer would agree.
2. Put yourself in their shoes: how would you feel on the receiving end
of this feedback?
3. Don't feed clever people stupid sandwiches; keep feedback focused on one point, little and often.
