At 6 PM we are going to meet at Bloomers Garden Center, 1037 Golf Course Road in Grand Rapids to browse and shop.

Then, we will go to Country Kitchen at 7 PM for dessert, coffee and a short devotion, “Spiritual Gardening, Planting Your Garden.”  We have the room to the right reserved.

SMBC Teacher’s Appreciation Breakfast
Sunday Morning Bible Class teachers and their families are invited to a breakfast at WCC this Sunday, May 5 at 8:15 AM.

Kids in the Kingdom
The letter for Sunday, May 5 is M, answering the question, "What is prayer?"  All children, elementary age and under, are welcome to participate during the 10:30 AM worship service.

This event is designed to support and encourage those who are currently serving in ministry at WCC, but anyone is welcome and childcare will be provided.

Join us this Wednesday, May 8 as we gather together from 5:45-8 PM.  A meal will be served from 5:45-6:15 PM.  Following the meal, we will meet in the Sanctuary.  We will hear from a panel of ministry leaders about their experiences this year and their testimonies of God's faithfulness.  From there, attendees will choose their breakout areas: join in a discussion about how we can serve and reach the special needs community both inside and outside our church, spend time considering what you might do personally with 2 hours per week of ministry time or simply meditate on Scripture.  We will close with a time of prayer together.  Please note: this year the question and answer time will take place at the upcoming Congregational Meeting toward the end of May.

WCC is currently looking for a Substitute Buildings and Grounds Caretaker to fill in during emergencies or illness.  If you are interested in this position and would like more information, please contact 218-999-9030.
