Pardon our recent silence, but we have been working hard and now have some very exciting news to share!
CONGRATULATIONS!
First we would like to extend our congratulations to all those in the running for our wonderful MUSE medallions. It is such an accomplishment and a testimony of your excellent work to receive the high scores required to be honored with a Certificate of Excellence. We hope you will all be at the banquet and hear your named called, followed by that wonderful walk to the stage where a MUSE will be hung around your neck or you are handed a check and Special Award. There are no words to describe that feeling of honor!
SPONSOR UPDATES!
We have picked up an additional four sponsors in recent weeks so things are looking great for the conference. Our sincere thanks to PURINA, Feline Fix by Five, Parasol Pets, and Cats Rule for stepping up to support CWA.
The most exciting news is that PURINA signed up for Emerald Level and will once again be sponsoring our awards banquet! This means that the banquet will be free to CWA members and anyone in the running for a MUSE and/or special award attending the conference. (There will be a nominal charge of $20 for accompanying guests.) A signup form will be up shortly so watch for that forthcoming announcement.
EDITOR APPOINTMENT UPDATES
We do not yet have a final count of attending editors, but should have that nailed down within the next few days. There have been some recent industry changes and we are awaiting word on the outcome before we announce the one-on-ones open for scheduling.
BOOK SIGNING OPPS
Attention attending authors...Do not forget that this year the CWA booth and book-signing table (one-and-the-same) will be INSIDE the awesome Cat Lounge! We cannot think of a better location to attract cat-loving traffic just itching to buy something.
NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER!
Word from BlogPaws is that attendance is filling up fast, so do not delay registering if you have been on the fence. You wouldn't want to miss being there if you are up for an award or two and your name is called. Don't forget that any conference costs are deductible as a business expense.
The CWA 23rd and BlogPaws 2017 will be another spectacular event. Don't miss out on all the fun, networking, heavy swag bags, and schmoozing with fellow pet-lovers.
