This is a message from your CWA President, Marci Kladnik. (Don't miss the link to the 2015 CWA Treasurer's Report!)

Happy Valentine’s Day (almost)!
I’m pleased to report that CWA is alive and well, although on the quiet side right now. That doesn’t mean things aren’t whirring in the background
Our books are balanced and the conference plans are finalizing nicely with sponsor monies still rolling in. New member applications also continue to arrive in Wendy’s mailbox, many with impressive credentials.
Amy Shojai has been working incredibly hard as Conference Chair and doing a spectacular job. The change in our contest schedule has made her job rather challenging this year, but coordination with BlogPaws is going smoothly and we are very excited about our upcoming tandem conferences in Phoenix. The venue is reported to be spectacular, another plus. My sincere thanks goes to you, Amy!
Contest Chair, Arden Moore, has also been working hard with this year’s contest spanning 18 months. The contest entries have been received, sorted, and will soon be in the judges’ mailboxes. Good luck to all of you talented writers/bloggers, photographers, and artists who have entered your work(s). I hope to see all of you at the banquet!
A reminder to those of you who have won Muses in the past, we have Muse pins and pendants for sale on the website along with Muse stickers for you authors whose books have won. Let’s advertise our CWA winners!
With this winter being another filled with massive storms and weird weather, keep your kitties close and stay safe. In fact, why not stay inside and turn the bad days into something positive by writing, painting, or photographing it?
Purrs from your Prez, Marci Kladnik
