Are you planning to attend the upcoming BlogPaws conference, May 28-30? If so, read on!
In addition to the CWA track of seminars that Amy Shojai, CWA's Events Chair, has arranged at the upcoming BlogPaws conference, CWA will have a booth among the exhibitors. That's good news because it allows us to hand out information about CWA to potential new members, and also gives our attending CWA authors a venue to sell their books - as we've done at our own CWA conferences.
The CWA booth will be open and operating all three days of the BlogPaws conference, May 28-30. FYI, here's the link to the BlogPaws schedule of events: https://blogpawsconference2015.sched.org/
CWA's Fran Shaw is scheduling CWA members to staff the CWA booth, although we aren't sure yet exactly how many people can be seated at the booth at one time. So, any CWA member author who wants to participate in book sales and signings -- and any other CWA member who is attending one or more days of the BlogPaws event and would like to participate -- PLEASE send Fran an email (franshaw1@juno.com) ASAP. She'll work with you to find times that are suitable and can be locked in.
CWA Authors: Since space may be limited, we'll have to schedule reserved time slots for book signing and selling. You'll have to bring and set up your own books, and handle all payments yourself, as in recent years when we haven't had a book store sponsor. In order to staff the CWA booth and/or sell books, you MUST be registered for, and attend, the BlogPaws conference.
Please email Fran at franshaw1@juno.com if you're interested. Fran will then work out all necessary details privately with all authors and other volunteers who contact her.
BTW, the booth schedule must be finalized before the Memorial Day weekend, since Fran will be driving to Nashville starting May 25.
