George from Durham
To Het Mozaiek school,
I am very honoured to be writing in this week’s newsletter. The whole school has been very kind, and I am grateful to spend my time in the Netherlands in this lovely school.
My Name is George and I am from Durham. Durham is a small city in the north east of England, it is an old city with lots of history, including a castle and cathedral. I grew up in Durham with my parents, brother and sister. As well as my pet, Ferry, a small noisy black cat who can never have too much food. As some of the children already know, I love to go skiing and play/watch sports such as cricket and rugby with my friends and family. I also love travelling, especially travelling around the very pretty country of the Netherlands.
I am very excited to be in Het Mozaiek school, because I like learning about other countries education cultures and it is something I find very interesting. After only being at Het Mozaiek for almost a week, I have already seen that the school hosts a very strong positive learning environment. Both children and teachers are very happy because they work together as a team, it is also lovely to see so many parents come into the classroom and be interested in their children’s learning.
For the next 2 weeks I cannot wait to see what other amazing aspects there are to this already lovely school.
A humble guest, George.
