HMF702 Scholarships open today! GCAHM Trimester 2 2017 Now is the time to lead the way in Agricultural Health in your community!
Healthy and Sustainable Agricultural Communities (HMF702) is a core subject of Australia’s only Graduate Certificate of Agricultural Health and Medicine run by the National Centre for Farmer Health and Deakin University. If you would like to understand health from the other side of the fence, and make a difference to the health, wellbeing and safety of Australia's farming families — then this is the course for you.
Commencing in Trimester 2 (10th July), the Healthy and Sustainable Agricultural Communities (HMF702) unit is completed entirely online. Those enrolling or enrolled in the Graduate Certificate are eligible to apply for a scholarship of $1000.
Scholarship applications are open on 1st May, 2017 and are available via www.farmerhealth.org.au until Sunday 21st of May, 2017.

Run 4 Farmer Health 2017 Our famous “Run for Farmer Health” event is back on again this year as part of the 2017 Melbourne Marathon Festival.
Sunday 15th of October is the day that you can switch your old work boots for something a little sportier!
Our social team “R4FH” is now open for all events ranging from the 3km walk through to the full blown 42.2Km marathon. Last year we reached a record of 110 registered participants and this year we planning to “motor” past that number (and no you can’t “volunteer” your trusty sheep dog to do it for you!)
Digital Storytelling Workshop Have you been affected by rural suicide?
Would you be interested in joining a group of like-minded farmers to tell your story to help reduce stigma and benefit others in the rural community?
The NCFH are running another FREE digital storytelling workshop in Melbourne in July. We can help get you there and provide you with accommodation. We just need you and your story so that we can start to make a difference.
Young farmers/farming family members aged 18-30 years are strongly encouraged to participate, but we welcome everyone to get in touch. Interested? Read more
