Welcome to Autumn at ATYP 🍂

It's a glorious time of year. In the excitement of starting a new season, we downed tools in the office last week and reorganised the place, thanks to some inspiration from designer Tobhiyah Stone Feller. It's not easy making our temporary office in the middle of the city feel like the bohemian home of young artists. At this stage it's a work in progress but...

FRESH INK
WRITING PROGRAM

Our celebrated Fresh Ink National Mentoring Program for emerging writers runs annually from April–December in selected states across Australia. The initiative has been running for 11 years in varying forms and links industry professionals to mentor our young writers.

To date the program has supported 84 playwrights in Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and Sydney.

AUTUMN SCHOOLS HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

The April school holidays are just six weeks away and we have programmed a sensational lineup for drama fans aged from Kinder to Year 12.

Adding one and two-day classes to fit in with the public holidays, kids can enjoy a full week or a short course where they will make new friends and learn new skills.

Did you know ATYP holds open auditions for all our productions? You don't need to be part of our workshops programme (although we do think they're pretty great!) or have worked with us before.

Just sign up to our audition database and when auditions come up, we'll send you the details. We also send casting briefs for many other productions and screen opportunities from industry friends and colleagues throughout the year.
