Mark Your Calendar for the Faculty Resource Fair

UAMS has many resources available and accessible to all faculty. Some of these resources are well-known and others are hidden gems. The Faculty Resource Fair, set for 4-6 p.m. Aug. 27 in the Wilson Education Building, will give all faculty members the chance to learn about the offices, resources and services available to them.

Gala for Life to Benefit NCI Designation Efforts

On Sept. 6, the Cancer Institute will host its 24th Annual Gala for Life at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock. A portion of the net proceeds from this black-tie fundraiser will benefit our efforts to achieve National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designation.
Among the benefits of achieving NCI Designation includes increased access to federal research funding and clinical trials unavailable to non-designated centers.
The Gala for Life will feature a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing to the Emerald City Band, a high-energy, 13-piece cover band that has performed at thousands of venues around the world.
