If you've been on Main Street lately, you may have seen the bricks going up on the second floor of our new library! Construction on the new library is going well, and work on the hotel (located along Chestnut Street) is underway.
Speaking of the new library...
This fall kicks off our 500 Friends and Families grassroots campaign. We're looking for 500 area families and individuals who can contribute $500 to our capital campaign. Your donation will go to fund:
  • Innovative spaces for children
  • High-tech community meeting rooms
  • Expanded seating and reading spaces
  • Increased access to technology
  • Study rooms
  • ADA accessibility in a user-friendly environment
But wait, there's more! In addition to getting a fantastically furnished new library, warm fuzzies, and a tax write-off (all donations to our capital campaign are tax deductible), you'll also get:
  • Recognition on special signage in the new children's area
  • "Our Library, Our Future" yard sign
  • Invitation to the family-friendly "Final Farewell" party in the old library
The library will be closed
  • Friday, November 11 for Veterans Day
  • Thursday, November 24 for Thanksgiving
  • Friday, November 25 for Thanksgiving
