Veteran Family Program
When a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) member makes the transition from active service to the civilian world so does their family. Releasing from the CAF can be challenging, but even more so when the release is the result of a medical condition.
The government of Canada has invested in a four-year pilot project to provide medically-release Veterans and their families with access to the Military Family Services Program (MFSP) for two years after the date of release.
These extended services can be accessed directly from the seven MFRC pilot locations: Shilo, North Bay, Trenton, Val Cartier, Halifax, Edmonton, and Esquimalt.
Services offered through the program include: enhanced information and referral services, transition programs, and intervention support.

For more information on the program and what services are available to you and your family please contact Pamela Hall, the Veteran Family Coordinator at 204-765-3000 ext. 4557 or
