Past Events

This is what we have been up to lately.

Networking Event African Utility Week

The 17th of May, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce organised a networking event in the CTICC, on the occasion of the conference African Utility Week. The event was jointly held with French Business, and we did have among our attendees international and local company representatives, as well as various entities of local Government.

It was a great opportunity to meet and greet many of our Member.

Champions League Final

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce held a joint event with La Liga in the World Trade Centre, Johannesburg, the 28th of May. The reason for our get-together was the final of the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid VS Atletico Madrid.

The event was attended by 200 people, by our Members and their invitees, local football starts, as well as Spanish diplomats. We did transport ourselves to Spain with Spanish wines and typical food. The perfect way to integrate the Spanish community as well as showing South Africa part of our culture.

We would like to thank once again to some our sponsors, like Heineken, who contributed for the event to be a major success.

ED-Solutions Seminar

Our Member ED-Solutions, in partnership with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, hosted a seminar on Economic Development, under the Renewable Energy Power Producers Programme (REIPPP).

The seminar took place in Cape Town the 3rd of June, and in Sandton the 7th of June, followed as usual as an opportunity to do some networking among our Members during lunch time.

We would like to thank ED-S for this initiative to help our Members to master this subject through their experience and professionalism.

If your company would like to participate as a speaker in a seminar, please get in touch with us.
