Hello from Cajamarca!!

Danielle and I are so blessed to be serving and studying at CCBC Peru, and excited for things to come. Here is what we are doing, and what we are expecting next.

This is life at CCBC Peru. We study, we work, we praise the Lord, we reach out with the gospel, we have fellowship, and we try to do all unto the Lord. We have a wonderful group of students and staff from all over the world, and we love what the Lord is doing here as people are growing in the Lord and being prepared for the ministry. God is good!

This semester has been very full, but very blessed. I have been teaching Nehemiah and we just finished up chapter 8 today. I have been loving teaching, and I think the students have been blessed too. Danielle is still running breakfasts here, and she taught the women's discipleship class earlier this semester, but now she is really looking forward to welcoming our little girl!!
The ministry in Chilete has shifted towards a kids outreach, but we have been blessed to continue to reach out to children and adults alike in Peru, and our first Bible College outreach was an overnighter in Chilete. We did dramas, kids festival, and shared the gospel. It was a great time of ministry and growth. Thank you for praying!

On The Horizon

We are very excited for the future, and what the Lord has in store for this new season!

In 3 weeks we will be welcoming the mission team from Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg and Ukiah to Cajamarca. We can't wait!!! They are bringing all sorts of tools, supplies, and skilled workers; and are planning to build our coffee shop and several other things. To be refreshed by people who love the Lord, and people we love very much is such a blessing. Oh, and we get to see these guys too...
We are also eagerly awaiting the birth of Abigail Lara Kilgus who is due on June 15. We are only 2 months away! We are getting things ready and the ladies on campus are getting together with the CCFB ladies to plan the baby shower which is very sweet.
My time as a Bible College student is coming to close as I will graduate in May, and after much prayer and thought, we are very happy to announce that we will be coming back to Peru as full-time missionaries at Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru. We will be teaching, discipling, leading outreaches, helping practically, and getting this Bible College built and finished!!
You can check out our new website at , and please keep us in prayer. We are excited for all the Lord has planned at the Bible College!
Another new development is as full-time missionaries sent out from Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg, we have a new place to send donations and support. As of now, all support can be sent to:

Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg
900 N. Main St.
Fort Bragg, CA 95437

Please make checks payable to Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg with a note in the memo that says MISSIONS. Do not put our name in the memo.
This will be a big help to us, and hopefully be a blessing to those who support us as well.
God has taken wonderful care of us throughout our time in South America, and we are confident He will continue to do so.
We do have some coming expenses with the new baby, travel, and monthly living expenses. If you would like to partner with us on the mission field financially that would be a great blessing, but thank you for always praying! We are blessed.

We also have opened a temporary online store where we are selling a few authentic items from Peru including amazing coffee, alpaca yarn, and more. So click the picture below to check out our new store. Everything will be delivered by hand or mailed this August when we are back in the states to visit family.

That's about all we have for now. Thank you so much for being a part of the Lord's work here in South America. Please continue to pray. We love and miss you all very much. God bless!!
The Kilgus Family
“Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.'" -Deuteronomy 1:29-31
