Dear families,
As we all navigate a complicated national landscape post-election, I wanted to assure you that our school community continues to be positive and focused on the job at hand, teaching and learning. We serve a diverse community and want to ensure that all our families and staff feel equally supported. The staff here has been nothing but professional and caring in their work with students since election day and I believe the climate here has been constructive and student-focused.
From a parent point of view, I understand the difficulty of debriefing the larger social and political climate in our country with our own children. We have provided a few resources below to help you broach difficult topics with your children.
If you are aware of any families or students who are in need of additional resources, please contact school administration.
Warmly,
Dr. Beth Polito
