MBHA continues on the path of growth

When this dream began 5 years ago, Landon and Holly knew that it would take hard work and resources - along with patience, and mindful attention to the needs of the community and the practice. In July, MBHA will welcome another full-time therapist to expand our spectrum of services and enhance our availability to see new and existing clients.
Jayne brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the practice and we look forward to the ways in which we can learn from her in the areas of extensive knowledge of addiction and recovery, family systems and 20+ years in the field. She fits into the MBHA community with her approach to seeking overall health for all individuals.
Beginning this month, Mind Body Health Associates will also begin offering private yoga sessions as a means to enhance your personal growth, connecting the mind and body to movement and breath. These one-hour private sessions can be scheduled by calling the MBHA office. Ask your therapist for more info.

Jayne Williams, MA, LPCC, LICDC

Jayne comes to Mind Body Health Associates with over 20 years of experience in the world of mental health.
Jayne is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from Ohio University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Heidelburg University.
While completing her graduate degree, Jayne worked in rural outpatient substance abuse programs before relocating to Dallas, Texas where she worked in an inpatient substance abuse program. Upon her return to Ohio, she worked in community mental health at Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services and started Intensive Outpatient Programs for chemically dependent adults. Jayne transitioned to the Center for Mental Health and Well Being, which is now Promedica Physicians Group Behavior Health, where she practiced individual treatment and short-term counseling.
Jayne provides treatment to those with addiction issues as well as mood disorders, anxiety issues,relationship problems and trauma. Her goal in treatment is to
advocate on behalf of all clients from a relationship of mutual trust and respect.

Learn to communicate with children in ways that create emotionally healthy family relationships and responsible, respectful children.

Mind Body Health Associates is offering a 6-week enrichment for parents to help understand how to engage with children in ways that encourage personal responsibility and raises healthy self-esteem.

Led by therapist Holly Schweitzer Dunn, LISW, the group will meet over 6 weeks from 5:00-6:30 pm, beginning July 6 at Mind Body Health Associates.
