paint and that voice will be silenced."

Letter from the Editor

The slideshow theme on the website for July/August is "Favorite Subjects".  Send in your jpegs during the last 2 weeks of June to  Be sure that your jpegs are at least 600-800 pixels in height.

Kathleen Muffie-Witt was the winner of the 120 half stick Sennelier set donated by Rochester Art Supply.

Jill Foster has a nice selection of pastel books and several DVDs that she would be willing to loan out to anyone interested.  If you are interested in a certain book or DVD, email her to see if she has it.  She also has copies of the Pastel Journal dating back to 1999.

If you are considering buying Elizabeth Mowry's new landscape book, you should know that it is a revision of her previous book, The Pastelist's Year, that was published in 2001.

Reminder: News deadline is the last Saturday of the month.  That deadline gives me Sunday to finish up details on the newsletter before it is ready to be sent out. Both Anna Crane and I now have gmail email addresses.  See bottom of newsletter.
