ACM is thrilled to be participating in Seattle Museum Month! Stay in a downtown Seattle hotel and receive half off admission to more than 40 museums, including ACM.

CALL FOR CARS: 1950-60'S CONVERTIBLES
Submissions Due March 1

1950s & 60’s convertibles will be driving into the Route 66 gallery in April! Displayed in the midst of the vintage petroliana and metal signs will sit a gallery of eleven cars that will have you imagining a great top-down road trip as you amble through the exhibit.

ACM is currently seeking vehicles for the Summer Drive Series - Convertibles. Private owners wishing to participate have an opportunity to nominate their cars for consideration by the ACM Curation staff. To have your 1950s-60s convertible considered for display, please send your name, contact information with a short bio and current photographs to exhibits@americascarmuseum.org no later than March 1.

Submissions Due March 15

ACM will open Exotics@ACM – Seductive Super Cars on May 5, Exotics@ACM will focus on the crème de la crème of exotic cars that embody the world’s best designs, technology and performance. Click here to learn more.

ACM is currently seeking vehicles for this upcoming exhibit. Private owners wishing to participate have an opportunity to nominate their cars for consideration by the ACM Curation staff. FULL STEAM AHEAD: A K-12 EDUCATOR WORKSHOP
February 25 | 9 am - 3:30 pm

The Tacoma Museum District brings you creative new ways to incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics into your classroom. Educators from America’s Car Museum, Children’s Museum of Tacoma, Foss Waterway Seaport, Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum and the Washington State History Museum will provide engaging, hands-on workshops for both primary and secondary teachers.

ACM’s 1915 Depot Hack carries a brass plate noting the body was manufactured by the Columbia Carriage & Auto Works, commercial coach builders from 1910 to 1917 in Portland.

ACM Volunteer Greg Camp will discuss the history of Auburn Automobiles beginning with the founding of Eckhart Carriage Company in Auburn, Indiana.

February 09 - RACE NIGHT AT ACM

Put your racing skills to the test on the second Thursday of each month in the Speed Zone at ACM!

Our CXC racing simulators are linked together to provide a realistic racing experience against other drivers. Compete on famous tracks such as: Darlington, Daytona, Dover and more!

February 18 - FAMILY STEAM DAY: BALLOON-POWERED CAR CHALLENGE

Design, build, and test a vehicle that is powered by the force of air escaping from a balloon. Experiment with a variety of materials to see what makes the vehicle go fast, far, and straight.

Included, with Museum admission.

March 04 - MEMBER DOUBLE DISCOUNT DAY

All Museum members will receive 20% off in the ACM Store and Classics by Pacific Grill on Saturday, March 4! Don't forget, members at every level enjoy member pricing in the Speed Zone!
