DIVINE VISIT TO NIGERIA – JULY 22 AND 23, 2016
Bhagawan’s second visit to Nigeria began with His entourage boarding the flight to Dubai on Friday, July 22. The connecting flight to Lagos, the capital of Nigeria was after 18 hours, and everyone utilised the lay over well to catch up on some much needed rest, after a glorious and packed Guru Purnima Celebrations at Sathya Sai Grama.
The next morning, Saturday July 23, the flight took off from the Dubai Airport at 7am, and after a six-and-a-half-hour midair rendezvous, Bhagwan’s entourage landed around noon in Lagos. A warm welcome awaited everyone by the hosts, Mr Anant Rao, Mr Ashok Pai, both former students from the Sathya Sai Institutions, along with Mr Ricky Sharma, an entrepreneur and an ardent devotee of Bhagawan, who were looking forward to bask in Swami’s Love for the next six days, in the country which was their home. The main highlight of the trip was going to be the inauguration of the new hospital in Enugu, which Swami had announced exactly a year ago.
The entourage arrived at the home of Sri Ashok Pai and Smt Swati Pai from the Murtala Muhammed Airport. The devout couple had spared no effort to ensure every comfort of Swami and His retinue, had been taken care of. After lunch and some rest, the evening Satsang commenced....

DIVINE VISIT TO NIGERIA – LAGOS – JULY 24, 2016
Day Two of Bhagawan’s visit to Nigeria was set in the residences of Sri Anant Rao and Sri Ricky Sharma. The rain played its own role, and washed the roads to receive the Lord!
The Satsang in the morning was hosted in the house of Sri Anant Rao, and after breakfast, Bhagawan proceeded to his residence. The house was abuzz with activity and Brother Anant’s wife Smt Kamala was at the helm of affairs, looking after every single detail. As Swami arrived, He was welcomed with traditional drums and the Purna Khumbam. The living room was already packed to its brim with devotees, youth and alumni, to spend a blissful Sunday morning with the Lord. After a few bhajans, Swami asked all gathered to have their breakfast that had been arranged at Brother Anant’s residence, as all had been eagerly preparing to welcome the Lord, and hence breakfast was the last item on their agenda.

Truth-Awareness-Bliss: this is the quality of Atma. Only all that which gives these three on a permanent basis must be considered as an aspect of this principle of the Atman.
Through body and through the senses if you try to experience this happiness, it does not last. As long as the senses are in touch with pleasures, it gives you joy. The moment they are separated, the joy ends. Can we experience it with the mind? Mind has also its parts. Mind holds Buddhi, the intellect, which differentiates one thing from the other. Chitta remembers what we have experienced earlier. Every time mind comes across a person, a place or a situation, Buddhi, its advisor, looks into this library to understand what it is. And the doership of it all is....
