INNER VIEW
-By Sri Madhusudan Naidu
Sometime back when we were in Singapore in a devotee's home, Swami looked at the clock on the wall in His room, which wasn't working! The poor devotee who had made sure that everything was perfect in the room, somehow missed replacing the batteries and the clock stopped. Swami exclaimed, "See there! (pointing to the clock), just because the clock has stopped working does it mean the time has also stopped? No, not at all. Time continues whether the clock works or not. Likewise, just because you stop working for Me, My Mission would not stop, it will go on whether you participate or not!
If you take part in it, you are benefited, like taking a dip in the Ganges which benefits you, but not the river which is unmindful of who praises and who blames, for its joy is in flowing to reach the ocean and become one with it. No one can help or harm My Mission, it will flow irrespective of anything or anyone."
As one of our senior brother put it very crisply, "Swami's mission will continue, with you, without you and inspite of you!"
How true!

GIFT OF LIFE – FREE CARDIAC SEVA IN FIJI AND LAUNCH OF SAI PREMA FOUNDATION (FIJI)
LAUNCH OF SAI PREMA FOUNDATION BY DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER
The healthcare mission of Swami is not only spreading it’s wings across India, but across the seven seas onto the global scale.
While Swami was in Bali spreading His love to the youth of the Asia Pacific region, His doctors from the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Raipur were in Fiji embarking upon on a historical and unprecedented medical mission, for the tiny island nation in the South Pacific.
During the Divine visit to Fiji last year, Swami said to the the Tappoo family that "Many Children in Fiji need cardiac care and we must help them." Springing into immediate action, Sri C Sreenivas announced that the team from Sanjeevani hospital will visit the island paradise to conduct free pediatric cardiac surgeries!
Swami, out of His infinite mercy, blessed the children of Fiji by committing to surgeries worth over FJD$1.3 million.
At the conclusion of the Divine Visit, a meeting with the Honourable Assistant Minister for Health revealed that there were numerous pediatric cardiac cases which were untreated, due to the local unavailability of services. However, the saddest statistic was that the families of the patients were unable to afford heart surgeries for their children resulting in fatalities.
Thereafter, as per Divine Command, the Sai Prema Foundation (Fiji) was established with three Trustees at the helm – Mr. Mahendra Tappoo, Mrs Maya Tappoo & Mr Vikesh Chauhan. The foundation then proceeded forward by coordinating the entire visit in association with the Government of Fiji and the CWM Hospital, Fiji’s premier hospital in the capital city Suva.
With all arrangements made by the Sai Prema Foundation, the team of Doctors arrived from Raipur into Fiji and began the two day screening process.
Of the 69 patients screened, 25 surgeries were performed on children between the age of 0 and 12.
As Swami graced the shores of Bali, His doctors began the surgeries in Fiji from 8th August. Day after day, for ten days....

Develop True Faith
Summary of Divine Discourse on 21 August, 2016
Where there is faith, there is love. Where there is love, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is truth. Where there is truth, there is God; and where there is God, there is happiness. If you experience happiness, know that God is around.
Faith is the basis of all things. But what is this faith? You ask, things happen, and then you develop faith. But this is not the way to develop faith. For faith is unconditional. First, we have to have faith that God is. But how do we experience the presence of God who is everywhere? God’s property is love, compassion, service and peace. Therefore, when you experience these qualities, you must know that God is around.
God is everywhere. But even though God exists, we do not experience His presence all the time because we lack faith. If we develop this unconditional faith that God does exist and realise that it is our fault that we are not able to experience Him, then there is a scope for progressing, improving and eventually, achieving that constant awareness. If you see it with your eyes, if you touch it with your hands, if you hear it with your ears, that is not faith; that is a fact. But if you believe that God exists beyond our sensory perceptions, in spite of the fact that you cannot see, touch, taste or smell, then that is called faith.
So, how does such a faith come? We have understood many things....

Listening to the Glory of God leads to Liberation
Summary of Divine Discourse on 18 August, 2016
Whether we do any other Sadhana or not, Shravanam, just listening to the glory of the Lord can take us to liberation. But unfortunately not many enjoy listening to good things. A true devotee who loves God would always love listening to the glories of the God and nothing else. But having taken birth in this Yuga, where unfortunately whatever you listen to is only worldly, there is very limited opportunity for devotees to listen to the glory of God.
To attain liberation, it is very important to have the company of the noble because only in good company you come across good things. If you change the company, you will change and if you have changed, your company will also change. Idle curiosity is no good. If you must have, have ideal curiosity not idle curiosity.
The nature of the worldly is that even if the best of the things are told to them – by listening to which one can get liberated – they will not enjoy such good things. They will go back to their worldly slush, which is full of sorrow and despair. They come to temples but they do not benefit because they have not found the taste of the Ramanama. It is Bhavaroga – this disease of the world – that does not allow us to enjoy the beauty, the sweetness....
