Just like the rain, that comes down on earth and flows as the streams and rivers, and ultimately merges in the ocean, God also descends, takes a human form, and behaves like one to teach the truth - 'All are Divine'. Once He has finished teaching the truth while in the body of an Avatar, He merges back into His Divine Self. This has been true, for great saints, Avatars and the messengers of Lord across all Ages. The body which has been made by the five elements, must merge back into the elements. It is true to your body, and Mine. But what remains behind is the truth of Divinity.                                                                                                                                                                               - Baba

Divine Visit – Zagreb, Croatia – Sunday, April 24, 2016

Morning:

It was April 24, the day when the form took to the formless. A day when millions around the world felt shattered! And five years later, it’s totally a different story! What a compassionate Lord do we have, for He has blessed us with the sense and sensibility to understand the subtle phenomenon, and continues to guide us like before! “There was a day five years ago like this, and there is today. What a difference!”, Swami said to Sri C Sreenivas in the morning.

Soon after breakfast in the morning, Swami proceeded to the venue of the public satsang. Two satsangs were organised, morning and afternoon, on the same day at Hypo Centre. The 30 minutes drive from the Mladen residence, was through beautiful green spaces and ornate buildings, which certainly opened up a sense of cultural curiosity. Over 1200 devotees from 18 countries, like Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, etc, had gathered to bask in Swami’s love. The Ambassador of India to Croatia, Mr Sandeep Kumar was a special Guest at the satsang.

Evening:

About 1400 people were yet again gathered to bask in Swami’s love. As He entered the hall, about 80 ladies and men were already standing on stage, to offer specially composed songs to Bhagawan. While the Lord wanted the music programme to be contained within 30 minutes, the pure love and devotion with which the songs were rendered, encapsulated and engulfed every soul seated, made the Lord to extend by another 30 minutes. Bhagawan was immensely happy, and enjoyed the programme with much delight. He blessed each of the 80 devotees with namaskar and prasadam. Sweet tears of joy, love and devotion flowed from each person. Brother Madhusudan later mentioned that Swami touched every person’s head and blessed them all profusely.

Divine Visit – Athens, Greece – Monday, April 25, 2016

After an early morning flight from Zaghreb, through Vienna, Swami’s entourage reached the ancient land of Greece, the last leg of this European expedition. Brother Dimitris Mexis, his son Jai, who studied in the Primary School at Prasanthi Nilayam, and members of their group were waiting at the Athens airport, to welcome the team. It was a crisp spring afternoon, which was slowly discarding the chill of winters, and donning the warmth of summer.

After an hour’s drive through some stunning seascapes, which brought the multitudes of photographs splashed across all travel magazines on Greece to life, the entourage reached Nea Peramos, situated in West Athens, to the family home of the Mr Dimitris, “SAI NATHA”.

The beautifully decorated 100-year-old mansion was renovated with modern amenities, to host Swami and His guests. Swami manifested at the gate, and walked on the red carpet in to the home, and the hearts of a small group of devotees and family members, who had gathered to welcome their Master! As He was greeted at the gate by Mrs Iovanna Dimitris, He said, “I had told you I will come, and see I have come to your home.” Over the decades, many groups of devotees had invited Swami to visit their countries. Swami had always answered in the affirmative, “Yes, yes. I will surely come.” Like it is said, “In His time, in His way!”

Divine Visit – Athens, Greece - Tuesday, April 26, 2016

As breakfast was brought to Swami, He was pleasantly surprised to see the Indian breakfast of Idly, Upama and Chutney. He never misses an opportunity to pick little mundane aspects, and turn them into profound truths! Swami remarked, “Whether Idly, or Upma or Dosa, or Uttapam all have the basis as the rice batter, which combines with other ingredients to make different dishes. Likewise, God alone is the basis of all that exists. When this pure Divine Self mingles and combines with the five elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth) and the three gunas (Tamasic, Rajasic and Satwic) it gives rise to all the variety in this creation!”

As per Swami’s command, the entourage were taken on a tour to visit the famed ancient temple complex of Parthenon, of the ancient Athens, in Acropolis. The Parthenon is a former temple in Acropolis, dedicated to Goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens, considered their patron. Construction began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC, although decoration of the building continued until 432 BC.

The Parthenon is regarded as an enduring symbol of ancient Greece, and one of the world’s greatest cultural monuments. It is the most important surviving building of classical Greece, and its decorative sculptures are considered some of the high points Greek art.

When Swami returned later and lunch was served, Brother Jai, son of Mr and Mrs Dimitris, asked Swami, “Now that Swami has blessed the ancient temple of Greece, would her fortunes change?” Swami said, “A temple is....
