Divine Visit – Singapore – March 22 & 23, 2016
After spending some wonderful and precious days with devotees in Japan, it was time to head back to Singapore. Bhagawan’s entourage proceeded from the Izu peninsula to Tokyo after breakfast on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 through some very picturesque and scenic landscapes. At some point midway, one could see the gigantic silhouette of Japan’s tallest mountain and the most iconic landmark of Japan, Mount Fuji. Rising 3776 meters above sea level, it was indeed a magical moment to witness the solitary volcano, towering majestically and showing its snow capped head over the clouds, while exuding a sense of transience and purity.
The entourage stopped briefly for an Indian lunch at Kawasaki, a city between Tokyo and Yokohama, before boarding the plane to Singapore. Upon arrival at Changi Airport, devotees from Singapore were eagerly waiting to receive everyone, and usher them to their residences for a much deserved rest.
Wednesday – Singapore – March 23, 2016 Morning
After a sumptuous breakfast, Bhagawan proceeded to the residence of Sri Thyagarajan and his wife Smt Shantini. It was a small and intimate gathering of young and old.
After a couple of songs, Bhagawan commanded Sri C Sreenivas to address everyone. As always, his talk was inspiring, where he spoke about life’s pauses and pursuits in his inimitable style. “Life is an eternal dynamic movement and we are so busy pursuing all that we need. The greatest blessing in pursuits, are the pauses You have put to life, dear Swami. You have made us realize how important it is to pause in life, and be in sync with the dynamism of the world where we exist.

Divine Visit to Japan, Singapore and Bali
March 23, 2016 - Singapore - Evening
‘Sai Anandam’, Bhagawan’s Ashram in Singapore was abuzz with last minute preparations, as streams of people entered the gates of what can be verily termed ‘heaven’, to experience the love of their divine Master. Of course, with the presence of God, any place gets transformed to ‘heaven’, and ‘Sai Anandam’ was certainly a part of it.
The afternoon session began with a talk by Sri B N Narasimha Murthy. He said, “You have to take it with equanimity if a result is good, by saying, ‘Lord it is Your gift, it is Your will; I am very happy with whatever You have given me. If the result is otherwise, that is also Your will and I have learned something from this.’ You meet success and failure with equanimity, many times we parents want to keep our children happy, but I tell you we betray them by not teaching them how to take failure in life. Therefore the very important thing in life is to teach how to accept a failure in life, and that become easy only when you have faith in God...

Divine Visit to Japan, Singapore and Bali
March 24-25, 2016 - Bali
Bhagawan’s entourage were up early once again to board a flight from Singapore Changi Airport to Bali, Indonesia. The mention of the word ‘Bali’ conjures up myriad images – mountains, beaches, vibrant culture, traditions and of course, the devout people! Bali is known as the Land of the Gods, and truly so, for mystic Bali exudes sheer natural beauty of volcanoes and lush terraced rice fields. For the Balinese, who embrace the Hindu religion, rites and rituals take center stage in their lives...

Divine Visit to Japan, Singapore and Bali
March 25, 2016 - Ubud, Bali
After an early breakfast, Bhagawan with His entourage and other guests proceeded to Ubud. Ubud is a town in Bali, located amongst rice paddies in the central foothills of the Gianyar Regency. It is well known globally for its rich culture and healing retreats. Ubud is born out of the word ‘Ubad’ which means ‘medicine’. The harmony with the environment, with one another and with oneself can be experienced in Ubud, where the physical, emotional and spiritual growth of a person naturally unfolds.
Brother Desmond and his wife Mrs Roselyn own and manage a healing retreat, ‘Sidharthani Meditation Centre’. They had invited Bhagawan to bless the ashram and inaugurate a newly constructed auditorium. The peak summer and soaring temperature was tough on everyone, but the Lord was all set to walk around the property, which was set amidst beautiful, lush paddy fields...

Divine Satsang, Premdeep - Sathya Sai Grama
Sunday, March 27, 2016 - Evening
In our day-to-day life, we spend every day troubled by many worries and problems. We should recognise that the law of karma is inevitable and everybody has to experience the consequences of their actions. Good actions will lead to good results and bad actions naturally lead to bad results.
The thoughts in our mind are the basis of all our actions. Suppose, we wish to develop only pure feelings and thoughts and do only pure actions and get pure results, what should we do? First and foremost, it is necessary we get into good company and listen to good things. That is why our scriptures declare that satsang or good company is very, very important. What we see, listen, experience – everything goes into our subconscious...
