INNER VIEW
-By Sri Madhusudan Naidu
During the recently concluded World Youth Meet, the youth from USA developed an internet based social platform called "One World One Sai", to help the youth around the world connect with each other, and serve the humankind across the globe.
They were presenting the platform to Swami for His blessings, with great love and enthusiasm.
As Swami walked past, He read, "One World One Sai, well, that's not entirely true! There are many worlds, some seen and some beyond, but THERE IS ONLY ONE SAI."
Having experienced the worlds beyond the realms of physical dimensions, I am sure that there are many many worlds. Even our scriptures describes them as 14 worlds, seven higher and seven lower worlds! But yes, there is only one Sai for all the beings of all the worlds! Isn't it why. He who belongs to all, changed the prayers for peace, for this world and its inhabitants to the prayer for all the beings of all the worlds! From Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu to Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavanthu!
It's truly Many Worlds, but One and Only Sai. Our Lord!

WORLD YOUTH MEET, 18 NOVEMBER 2016
Like as Swami says always "Grama Seva is Rama Seva" and as a part of the glorious birthday celebrations of our beloved lord, Grama Seva has been conducted at morning in the nearby villages where all the devotees, delegates, students participated by doing Nagara Sankeerthan, distributing prasadams and clothes to the villagers.
Evening Session:
The eve of the World Youth Meet 2016 presented a tasteful precursor to what was to follow in the coming couple of days. Soulful bhajans filled the Sathya Sai Premamrutham Hall in the hall, while the devotees, students, and delegates eagerly awaited Bhagawan’s arrival. Once Bhagawan arrived, the evening proceedings began with a quick recap of the morning’s Grama Seva. All the delegates in small groups had visited the nearby villages in the morning, serving the villagers with food and clothing. The village service is an essential part of the World Youth Meet and was ably supported by the volunteers of the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust.
Delegates share experience
Two delegate representatives shared their experience of personal transformation with the gathering. The first speaker, sister Allessandra Briganti from Italy recollected her experiences from the last year’s World Youth Meet, sharing how it changed her outlook towards Love and Service. She serves as a volunteer, helping differently-abled people go about their daily routine. The Grama Seva experience, she confessed, helped her develop empathy and engage better in selfless service.
Brother Tirupati Nagappa, a Youth Delegate from UK was the next delegate speaker for the evening. He spoke about how life-changing the Grama Seva experience was, and went on to share how truly content the villagers were. In spite of their material poverty, the villagers welcomed them all with wonderful smiles on their faces. This, he confessed, inspired him to look for spiritual content in every aspect of his life.
Sanathana Vani turns One
The next programme was a celebratory video presentation, which showcased the year-long journey of Sanathana Vani, the internet radio channel that was launched a year ago by Bhagawan on this day. It was...

WORLD YOUTH MEET – INAUGURATION, 19 NOVEMBER 2016 - DAY 1
Morning Session:
The inaugural session of the World Youth Meet 2016 also coincided with the Ladies Day that’s celebrated in the Sai fraternity with much aplomb. To mark the twin significance of the day, Bhagawan was led into the Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham Hall with a flag procession of women delegates from across the globe and vedam chanting by the girl students from Bhagawan’s educational institutions.
World Youth Meet 2016
The World Youth Meet was officially flagged off with the lighting of the lamp by Bhagawan. Centred on the theme, “Bend the Body; Mend the Senses; End the Mind”, the logo of the youth meet was then unveiled. The guests and speakers, who were seated on the dais, were then formally welcomed.
This was followed by a multi-faith invocation prayer by representatives from nine faiths from across the globe. The many faiths that were represented were Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Sikhism, Judaism and Shintoism.
Two youth delegates addressed the audience next. The first youth speaker was Dr Nisha Kesavan from Singapore. She recollected how Bhagawan had guided her to visit the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital at Raipur, in order to inspire her to take up the path of selfless service. Deeply....

WORLD YOUTH MEET - NOVEMBER 20, 2016 – DAY 2
The theme for the day – Bend the Body – was the central takeaway for the day, with the speeches and talks dwelling on the many aspects of this simple sentence.
Three Keynote Speakers, Sri Isaac Tigrett, Founder of Hard Rock Cafe and House of Blues, Sister Giovanna from Church of Assisi, Italy and Sri Rashmin Pulekar from the Art of Living Foundation were slated to address the delegates in the morning session of the second day of the World Youth Meet. Sri B Ramanatha Rai, the Hon’ble Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Government of Karnataka was the Guest of Honour for the session.
The formal proceedings began with the vedic chanting by the students of Sri Sathya Sai DivyaNiketanam, Jayapura Campus. A song presentation followed next from the children of “Sparrow Nest”, an orphanage.
Fulfilment vs Fullness
The first speaker, Sister Giovanna, spoke eloquently on the topic of “Fulfillment – Fullness”, explaining to the delegates the key difference between fulfillment and fullness. “Fulfillment happens when we achieve all the little things and dreams in our lives, but fullness happens only when the dreams we achieve becomes one with the dream that God has for each one of us”, she explained succinctly. This fullness can be achieved only when whatever we do in our lives is surrendered to God in its totality, she said.
She then gave a four-point approach to reach such a fullness in life, urging everyone to introspect, awaken their hearts, giving up the need for possessing things in life and ultimately, trusting God and investing in His dream. She ended her speech on a prayerful note, celebrating God as her parent, love, and everything.
The next speaker was Sri Rashmin Pulekar. Pointing out how depression....

ONLY GOD IS PERMANENT – SUMMARY DIVINE DISCOURSE ON 17 NOVEMBER 2016
What we think exists does not really exist; what we think does not exist, is what really exists. What exists is God and God alone; the world does not exist. That is the truth that all of you have to recognise. This world is nothing but the shadow of God. If you go behind the shadow and try to grab it, you will never get it. Only when you lay your hands on the real object, you can enjoy it. The whole world is nothing but a reflection of God. It is not the Truth. God is only the entity which is eternal, permanent, steady and is all the time there.
The world is ever changing every moment. The man who is the cause for the shadow is not changing; only the shadow is changing. The man is not longer in the morning, shorter at noon or longer in the evening. But depending on what time of the day it is, the shadow keeps changing in its length. God is changeless and He is ever existing, permanent and eternal but His reflection – the world- keeps changing. Based on this, the Bhagavad Gita says, after having got into this world which is full of misery and which is temporary, you have to adore Me.
One moment the mind is very happy but next moment it becomes very sad. One moment our mind is filled with peace and the next moment it is filled with restlessness. The body also keeps changing – from birth until death. Those things which change cannot be permanent. That is why this world is called Jagat in Sanskrit. Ja and Gat – coming and going – that is its truth.
God is the owner of all the names, of all the forms. He is the embodiment of Satchitananda – Truth, Being, Awareness, Bliss- and He is also the personification of Truth, Beauty and Goodness. Because God.....

ONLY THROUGH SELFLESS SERVICE, YOU WILL ATTAIN NIRVANA OR LIBERATION – SUMMARY DIVINE DISCOURSE ON 19 NOVEMBER 2016 – MORNING SESSION
Today when you look around in the world, you find only restlessness. There is no peace and no joy. Today’s men and women are filled with only selfishness and self-interest and struggle all the time to achieve their selfish goals. Due to selfishness, they think only of themselves and don’t think of the welfare of others. Food, sleep, fear and procreation are common both to animals and human beings. The only difference between animals and humans is selfless love. Any human being without selfless love is worse than an animal.
We have organised this Youth Meet with the sole motive of bringing back the lofty principles of righteousness, love and peace back into the world. Only when you develop selfless love in your hearts, you can reap the benefits of peace. Yesterday all the youth and students went to serve in the villages. While serving villagers, they offered them food and clothing but because of the love that pervaded the atmosphere, they could also experience joy and peace in their hearts.
God has gifted this body to us in order to help and serve others. If you involve yourself in service, what is that you are going to gain? You will be able to mend the senses. In order to sublimate, in order to purify the senses, selfless service is very important. Senses all the time go outwards. The senses always go after the various pleasures of sound, touch, taste and fragrance. When you turn the senses, which go outward, inward into yourself, that is ‘mend the senses’. Because of lack of control on the senses, men and women subject themselves to great miseries and difficulties.
If you want to get over this danger, the only way is to control....

IT IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT TO ATTAIN IMMORTALITY – SUMMARY DIVINE DISCOURSE ON 19 NOVEMBER 2016 – EVENING SESSION
When you were born, you were all children of immortality – Amrutaputrulu– the nectarine, godly beings. As you grew up, you developed worldly desires, filled your mind with sensual cravings and became poisonous. This is the truth, which is the essence of all the Shrutis or Vedas and that is the word of Sai.
Every drop of rain that comes down from the sky will ultimately reach the ocean. The rain drops that come down from the skies are pure. However, when rain drops fall on earth, the qualities of the earth join water. The rain drops which come down absolutely pure, and once they touch the earth, they become tainted and polluted by the colour, taste and smell of earth. Similarly, man who is nothing but the embodiment of the attributeless Atman, develops many qualities because of his company with the body. What is the reason? It is because of the company he keeps. Man becomes poisonous because he develops worldly desires.
When the mind is filled with worldly desires, it is full of inertia – Tamasik qualities. You can conquer Tamasik qualities with Rajasik qualities. Even Rajasik qualities can be controlled through Satvik qualities. Therefore, if you want to purify your mind, some spiritual effort or Sadhana is required. When the mind gets into worldly matters, naturally some of the pollution of the world will get into it. Like how you wash soiled clothes, you can also clean up the soiled mind. The polluted mind can be cleaned with the soap of service and water of love. When we practise service and love, we can purify the polluted mind.
Your true nature is God. How can you lose yourself? You are That, That is....

THE PURPOSE OF ALL ACTIVITY IS PURIFICATION OF THE MIND – SUMMARY DIVINE DISCOURSE ON 20 NOVEMBER 2016 – EVENING
The world in which we are born is a land of action. Therefore, we cannot escape from performing action. But with what motivation should we do all our actions? The purpose of all activity is purification of the mind. We need to take up such an activity, which will help us to purify our mind and give up such activity that binds us to attachment.
We may think that we are performing all our actions through this body. However, the mind rules over all the organs and senses and performs actions through the body. This car – the body – has a driver, the mind. If the mind takes this body wherever it wants, it will lead to danger. Mind is always dragged by cravings of the senses for the pleasures of the world. For the driver (the mind), there is the Master, which is the heart. That is Consciousness or Divinity. If the driver (mind) obeys the master (Divinity), we can definitely reach our ultimate destination of Dharma or Divinity. Mind is nothing but a bundle of thoughts or desires. Only when we are able to train the mind we can take it in the right direction.
It is natural that you want to earn money in order to look after the needs of the body. There is nothing wrong about it. It is only means of livelihood, Jeevanopadhi. But there is something called Jeevitaparamavadi , the ultimate goal of life. You becoming a doctor or an engineer is only a means of livelihood. But the ultimate goal of life is to realise your divinity. The true Dharma is the Hridaya Dharma, the Dharma of the heart. When the noise of the mind is reduced, you can listen to the voice of the heart or the Atma. When you are haunted by a question or a doubt, what you need to do, is to sit....
