What We've Been Up To

Due to Covid-19, Fridays for Future Calgary has not been striking outside City Hall for many months. However, many of our members have been participating in digital climate strikes on Fridays to advocate for climate action while following public health regulations. Do you want to advocate for systemic climate action from home? Send us an email or a direct message on Instagram with a picture of you and/or your sign to be featured on our social media!

The last few weeks have been pretty busy for Fridays for Future Calgary. We’ve been working on social media posts, intaking new members, and planning future actions! However, we continue to organize from home to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Upcoming Events

  • The next Global Day of Action is on September 25th! We’ll alert you as soon as we have finalized all the details.

Support Local Bookstores

Instead of purchasing from huge companies, such as Amazon or Indigo, it’s ideal to support small, local bookstores. We have compiled a list of local bookstores to help!
