Happy New Year!

January 1st, 2020

Some say that rock bottom will teach you things that mountain tops never will...
Although I don't think we were ever actually that low, because we know the Lord had purpose for every step and uses our obstacles as stepping stones.

I feel that I have only a little understanding at this point in regards to what happened to me in our last week in Greece. My spirit still searches out all the things I am learning from this event. And we may never fully know the reasoning for it all.
It seems like it's still a mystery as to why I had the inflammation the size of a pea show up in my brain and mess up the motor function in my left hand and leg. But I do know that ...
God never left. I look back on the days I was in the hospital in Athens and my kids were alone in our apartment. They had peace. I was well taken care of. And with so many people praying, I trust that God has healed me. My strength has not returned to normal, but I feel I am 95% better than when we landed in Texas on the 8th, still unable to walk.
I am walking! I am practicing my handwriting some, and I am doing better every day. God's grace covers me and my family, our peace, our finances, cares, all of it. We are slightly still in shock how everyone came together for us and how God has been so good to get us home, provide all we need, and the healing I am walking out. It's all a testimony of His grace. When we give our YES to him, He is so faithful with all that concerns us. So... In 2020... May His kingdom come and His will be done!

We've had a blessed time with family in Texas!

We are so thankful to close out 2019 with each other. We are thankful for you! And especially above all, we are thankful God is a good Father to give us fresh eyes, vision and RESOLVE for 2020! For in all things, we will trust the Lord.

May you also have a vision for newness of life in 2020!
May we persevere in anything that comes our way, stand in faith, overcome with joy, love unconditionally, worship God in His sovereignty, praise Him for every victory and trust the Lord through every uncertainty.
Thank you for joining this journey of faith, praying so faithfully for us, and lovingly supporting us. We look forward to how God will lead us this year!
The future is bright!
Blessings on this new year for us all!
Sincerely, the Bailey crew
