Recently I spend a weekend in New York City with the HealthBridge Livable Cities Program Director. We wandered the streets—and regularly ate—in Jackson Heights, Greenwich Village, SoHo, and the Garment District. We enjoyed the greenery and particularly the people watching in Central Park, Bryant Park, and Washington Square.

Steps for Change Walk

Sep. 25, 2016

The Walk will take place in Ottawa on Sep. 25. Along the route participants will encounter milestones marking, for example, the distance that people in low-income countries must travel to get to a market or to a health care facility. In this way we hope to educate participants about the important work of HealthBridge.

Steps for Change Challenge

Aug. 15 - Sep. 25, 2016

The Steps for Change Challenge will take place online, encouraging participants to sign up and record their steps towards HealthBridge milestones, for example the distance that people in low-income countries must travel to get to a market or to a health care facility. Similar milestones will mark the route of the Step Walk, which will take place in Ottawa. This way we hope to educate participants on the important work of HealthBridge.
